Dublin Performance Active Tights Review
As a dressage rider, I’ve always been a big fan of full seat breeches, but when I started catch riding in Endurance Rides/Competitive Trail Rides last summer, I learned pretty quickly that my traditional tall boots & full seat breeches weren’t exactly designed for 25+ miles at a time! As I started looking at options in tights, I wanted something that was lightweight and comfortable, but I wasn’t quite ready to give up the full seat design. The Dublin Active Tights are the perfect compromise – the material is both lightweight and incredibly stretchy, so comfortable for long hours in the saddle. The tights are designed with as a midrise cut, featuring a wide elastic waistband, so they don’t require a belt, and the short cut at the ankle prevents rubbing or bunching under tall boots or paddock boots/half chaps. The four-way stretch fabric is standing up well to wear and washing, the
silicone full seat provides exceptional grip. The full size phone pocket on the side is a great addition and provides easy access when I’m tracking miles on the trail. I would definitely recommend these for anyone looking for a comfortable, casual schooling tight!
